THE COLLABORATION AGENDA FOR RADON

An estimated 220 radon-induced lung cancer deaths occur every year in British Columbia. Reducing radon exposure in B.C. homes and workplaces should be a public health priority and must be addressed at individual, community, provincial, and national levels.

This workshop will present case studies and research on:

  • burden of disease due to radon
  • radon measurements in new and existing homes
  • workplace exposure to radon
