C-NRPP Certification Course:

Radon Mitigation Professional


Cost:

$1 200 (taxes and exam fee included)


Combined Measurement and Mitigation Course rate: $1 650

(register through the Mitigation course, only for combined rate)


Course Focus:

The course is designed to prepare people to become Radon Mitigation Professionals.  A professional interprets radon test results, and determines the most effective way to manage radon concentrations within buildings; and is trained in diagnostic testing and the design and/or installation of radon mitigation systems.


The objectives of the course include:

  • Site survey in a residential dwelling
  • Communication Test with micromanometer
  • Design of piping and fan fitting
  • Identify difficulties in installation

This course is essential for: Home Builders, Building Inspectors, Public Health Officials, Plumbers, Architects, Engineers, Building Designers

Combined Course: 
Starts with Measurement Course on November 21.  Mitigation only will start Wednesday, November 23.

Measurement Course:

Monday, November 21 - 8am Registration 
- In Class session 8:30am - 5pm

Tuesday, November 22
- In Class session 8:30am - 5pm
Measurement Exam - 7-9pm

Mitigation Course:
Wednesday, November 23 - 8am Registration   
                                - In Class session 8:30 - 5pm 

Thursday, November 24 - In Class Session 8:30 - noon
                 Field Exercises in the afternoon

Friday, November 25 - In Class Session 8:30 - 5pm
           
Saturday, November 26 - Exam 9am-1pm
