CARST December 2025 Newsletter

23 Dec 2025 5:15 PM | CARST (Administrator)

On behalf of the entire CARST team and board of directors, we’d like to wish all of our members peace and joy over the holiday season.  We appreciate the efforts you make year round to support Canadian homeowners in protecting their health and hope that you’re able to take some time to rest and refresh.

We had another great set of Townhall meetings in December with members joining from across the country to chat and connect.  We shared a number of announcements:

  • C-NRPP website launch: if you’re C-NRPP certified, have you selected your service areas yet?  Click here to complete the form and make sure you still appear on the list! The new Resources page makes C-NRPP resources even easier to browse and order - check it out here!

  • Radon Action Month ads: C-NRPP purchased billboards and radio ads and then also posted videos online - have you felt the effects? (This year’s campaign was in Kelowna, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Moncton, Halifax)

  • Consumer-grade Electronic Radon Monitor Report: it’s tough to keep up with all the new monitors available online - be sure to refer your clients to our consumer guide!

  • CARST2026 is taking place next May in Saskatoon!  For the first time in our history, we’re teaming up with CRPA to host the first Radon Symposium!  Details and registration here.

  • CE Course development: CARST is looking for additional continued education courses - do you have a specialty that’s adjacent to radon?  Would you like to prepare a course, either for our upcoming conference or as an online course?  Click here to find more information on the process to submit a course.

  • CARST Member Benefits: We’re adding new member benefits, including employee benefit packages for our small business members to offer their employees.  Are you interested?  We’ll be sharing more information in the New Year!

  • Did you know?  The LungsMatter radon mitigation grant now accepts applications from homeowners who’ve used electronic radon monitors to perform their radon tests.  Find details here.

We hope 2025 has been as busy a year for all of you as it’s been for us - we’re looking forward to a great year ahead in 2026!
